2.5.2.9. Hidden system directories

Notes:

  • To access hidden system directories using the file manager, enable the display of hidden files in its toolbar.
  • All hidden system directories are instantly visible if instead of FTP you connect via SFTP (FileZilla, WinSCP) or SCP (WinSCP).

A number of system directories, such as .system, .ssh, .cagefs, .cl.selector, .subversion, are hidden by default for security reasons and are not visible in the directory list when connecting via FTP.

To access such directories, you must explicitly specify the path to the desired directory in the address bar of the FTP client:

In FileZilla, after connecting, you need to manually enter the path to the directory in the "Remote site" field:
In Total Commander, after connecting, you need to enter the command cd and the path to the directory in the built-in command line:
