2.4.2.5. Transfer site from subdomain to main domain

To transfer a site from a subdomain to the main domain within a single hosting account:

1. In the site settings and PHP settings of the main domain, set the same settings as those set for the subdomain.
2. Using the file manager, clear the contents of the directory of the main domain and move all the contents of the subdomain directory into it (or simply rename the subdomain and main domain directories, swapping their places).
3. If the site is linked to a domain address, replace the subdomain address with the main domain address and adjust the paths in the site's configuration files and/or database (instructions: WordPress, OpenCart, PrestaShop).

Since the transfer is performed within a single hosting account, there is no need to transfer the database or change the connection settings.
